Louisville, KY – In spring 2022, Pivot Brewing, a popular Lexington brewer of hard cider and beer, announced their plans to open a new taproom location in Louisville towards the end of 2022. The location, which is situated near one of the most visited dining and entertainment areas on Bardstown Road, will feature a stylish area to enjoy craft beverages with close proximity to trendy Louisville eateries. “We were fortunate this property came on the market,” Martin Svab with Pivot Brewing stated, “We are at the end of Bardstown Road, which is great. It is developing quickly, and a lot of people visit the area, so we are happy to be joining the neighborhood.”
Elliot Services was selected to serve as the electrical contractor for the project and has been working diligently alongside the team from Pivot Brewing to achieve their vision for the space. “We want to make it welcoming for everyone, inviting to the neighborhood, and a great place to enjoy our cider and beer,” Svab said, “This will be a meeting space for neighbors and a great place for game nights and events in the area.” Part of this process is developing a soft, warm, and engaging lighting plan for the space, providing a proper ambiance for the brewery. Chuck Ely is the project manager from Elliot Services for the project, and his team has worked with Pivot Brewing to capture their vision and develop the perfect plan to meet their needs. “Elliot Services came highly recommended to us, and it has been absolutely amazing. On-site work, communication, through just in-person and phone meetings, email, and questions, our experience has been great. It makes our life 10 times less stressful when undertaking a project like this,” Svab commented.
While there is still work to be completed, they are targeting a November 2022 opening date to begin serving their delicious beverages to the Louisville community.
