Lexington, KY – Elliot Services, a division of Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc., recently completed work on a project at Asbury University. The University’s new Walt and Rowena Shaw Collaborative Learning Center.
According to Asbury University’s website,
“The $25 million, 59,000-square-foot Shaw CLC brings together future entrepreneurs and scientists, health-care professionals and marketing experts to learn from, and with, each other. The Shaw CLC will house Asbury’s Dayton School of Business, School of Science, Health and Mathematics, SEARCH at Asbury, a 400-seat auditorium, breakout rooms for hosting conferences, common areas and sales training rooms.”
Elliot Services completed the power and lighting for the building with security, installed a new generator and transfer switches, worked with Johnson Controls, Inc. to install the fire alarm, completed the low voltage and structured cabling work, and installed new primary and secondary power for most of the campus.
Casey Horton and Keith Grupke led the electrical side of the project for Elliot Services, while Hunter Vaught oversaw the data portion. Charlie Rice, Matt Day, Austin Smith, Preston Ledford, Dennis Smith, Dwight Sneed, Blake Smith, William Willoughby, Noah Stone, Hunter Rice, Tanner Smith, and Bryston Alcorn worked on this project alongside them.
